Providing desktop and laptop technical support for approximately 5,000 clients. Support includes both local and remote locations. Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation, over-time, and includes weekends and holidays if needed. Willing and available to work non-standard shifts for defined coverage times on short notice and/or for extended periods of time. Support includes- - Troubleshooting software and hardware technical issues while gathering pertinent information to resolve issues. Providing advice and assisting on a 24 x 7 basis, as needed, to include communicating technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. - Building, installing, and configuring and providing preventative maintenance of business software and end user hardware (e.g., personal computers, mobile devices, etc.). Responsible for distributing equipment and managing inventory. - Assisting other internal teams such as network systems, database administrators, etc. with applications and systems as needed. - Maintaining encryption, data backup integrity, and device security for the end user environment. - Following defined policies and procedures. - Supporting information technology and infrastructure projects.
