Provides information technology support to clients as a contractor; assists in the implementation of various software and hardware installations, computer installs and setups; administers the clients Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN); manages and establishes users accounts on the network; provides technical assistance for Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office & Outlook, MS Exchange Servers and other software programs and applications; have additional experience with Cisco Routers & Switches, NT base Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems, NeoWare Computers(LINUX), HP Printers Installing and Configuring new equipment, including desktop PC’s; Servers, Racks, Firewalls, Routers, etc. ; troubleshoots day-to-day problems and unusual issues with network equipment; evaluates the need for upgrades or replacements of current computer hardware and software solutions; maintains users, security, groups, domain, accounts and accesses for Microsoft’s Active Directory Windows Servers Domain permissions and privileges; maintains inventory of equipment and parts, as well as documentation of vendor activities; develops and documents system standards for computer and network devices; maintains high-level confidentiality of sensitive information.
