I am a native Italian speaker and a freelance translator. Over the last seven years I have been working mainly for television, translating roughly 500 tv shows and documentaries. I also have wide experience in transcription and subtitling. Working for the television industry, I soon got used to work under pressure and to be fast and extremely accurate. I have a M.A. in Foreign Languages (English and Chinese) from Torino University, where I graduated cum laude, presenting a thesis on the Wang Meng's novel "An sha 3322", which I translated into Italian. I also attended a Specialization Course on literary translation. Finally, I lived for a year in the United States as an exchange student. I am very passionate about my job, and I value every project, no matter what the size is. Payment is expected only upon satisfactory completion of work. I am detail oriented, accurate and very passionate about my job. My strength is my ability to translate both literary and very colloquial texts.
