I'm the one spotting typos in restaurant menus and correcting errors in office bulletins when no one is looking. My personal belief is that an editor's work should be seen and not heard. When a job is done correctly, the voice of the author is the only one present, and all the work the editor has done is undetectable to the reader. Just call me your invisible one-stop spelling, grammar, and editing machine. I have a veritable smorgasbord of experience, ranging from script reading for a talent agency in Toronto, to working as an Arts editor for Montreal newspaper. This also includes editing academic papers, fiction, business proposals, and magazine articles.
