The Court of Appeal reopened the investigation with Juventus after a request submitted by the Italian Public Prosecutor regarding capital inflation during the last summer transfer periods.

The Italian Public Prosecutor requested the reopening of the investigation with 8 clubs, including Juventus, regarding the issue of capital inflating and suspicious deals.

The Court of Appeal accepted the Public Prosecutor's request against Juventus regarding illegally inflating capital without concluding deals more than their value.

Accordingly, the court decided to deduct 15 points from Juventus in the Italian league competition “Calcio” during the current season 2022/2023.

The Old Lady Club has the right to appeal this decision in the coming days and try to reduce the number of deducted points or raise the penalty.

It is noteworthy that when this penalty is applied, Juventus will drop to tenth place with 22 points, after it was in third place with 37 points after 18 rounds of the Italian League
