Will hack open source kernel and userland in C, C++ or whatever is necessary. Does your Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD or DragonflyBSD machine need that something special that only an experienced hard core hack can provide? Need a driver for some USB thing? Need more out of your Ethernet drivers? Need to protocol convert? Need it to happen with the efficiency that only C and C++ can provide? Really, there's some problems that only someone familiar with kernel-side technology can solve. Examples: 1. funnel 10 gigabit of L2TP->PPP and route it out ethernet (with OSPF, Radius, and all that entails) 2. get 7 bit EBDIC (with odd configuration) in serial, parse, and put scraped values into a database. 3. fix an ethernet driver that has problems like hanging or corrupting packets. 4. protocol convert ATM to ethernet (at OC-3 or better speeds)
