The German coach, Jurgen Klopp, identified the reason for the decline in the level of Mohamed Salah, the star of the team, during the recent period, after his glow since the beginning of the current season, indicating his conviction that the captain of the Egyptian national team will end the season strongly.
Mohamed Salah, accompanied by Liverpool, is preparing for the Manchester City match on Saturday evening in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, as Klopp is expected to return the Egyptian star to the starting lineup after he was excluded against Benfica last Wednesday in the Champions League with a view to rest.

Klopp said, in comments highlighted by the “Liverpool Echo” website, before the Manchester City match today, “I know that Mohamed Salah will end the current season strongly.
Klopp added, “Mohamed Salah’s problem is that he experienced the most difficult period in his career last January, when he participated with the Egyptian national team in the African Nations Cup, and qualified for the final, where he played 120 minutes in many matches, the task entrusted to him was very big, as the leader in The locker room, and he played matches without enough recovery.”
And the German coach continued, “Being a star in your country, it is a problem, because everyone wants you to achieve something, this is of course a good thing, but we are now in a period where there is no time for poor performance, and this is normal.”
Klopp continued, "A player like Mohamed Salah loves to run and dribble, and he scored many goals because of that. Can I tell him: Don't run? No, but I can tell him you have to run and dribble and keep the ball in the right moments. Make things natural and simple."
