Moscow - Together - The Kremlin issued a statement denying what was reported by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the apology of Russian President Vladimir Putin, through a phone call with Naftali Bennett, for the statements of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov regarding Hitler's Jewish origins. The Kremlin discussed the details of the contact between the two parties, which, according to the Kremlin statement, did not include any apology for Lavrov's statements.
Commenting on this, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Thursday, that "the conversation that took place between the leaders of the two countries came exactly as stated in the Kremlin's statement."
This comes after Israeli media reported, earlier today, from the presidency of the Israeli occupation government, that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett "accepted" Russian President Vladimir Putin's apology for the statements about Hitler's Jewish roots.
And Putin had made a phone call, on the occasion of the so-called "74th Independence Day of Israel", to Bennett, regarding the latest developments in Ukraine, where the two sides stressed that "relations between Russia and Israel will continue to develop."
