Hello, I am a publishing professional worked for typesetting many scientific and technical books in latex using word to latex conversion. I have about 15+ years of experience. I have worked for many US and UK publishers on LaTeX books. I went through your requirement. Here is the steps to work on your book: 1. Convert doc file to latex Having worked on so many LaTeX books, I can assure you of well coded tex files, pdf created. I can do justice to maths/equations as I am well aware of latex symbols and commands. I have working knowledge of Illustration as well and can help you create figures, if required. I worked for US client as latex helpdesk and update/create cls/sty/macro to get desired output using customized environment. Help them fixing compiling problem, generating multiple indices like subject, author index in latex. I can create a sample file if you desire so. If you want to compile it on any available latex template (cls/sty), I can do that for you. Just let me know. We can talk on price and schedule if you invite me for the project.
