A Power Engineer by profession with specialist knowledge in Power system analysis. Having received my post graduate (Master's and Doctoral) degrees in High Voltage Engineering, I have more than 9 years of research and industrial experience in power system design, modelling, planning and operation of large network up to 400 kV transmission system. Strong expertise in conducting power system studies, including specialised studies using EMTP. Extensive knowledge of different power system analysis tools to conduct system studies for network planning and renewable power integration studies. Undertaken responsibilities in developing the distribution/transmission network by identifying the right reinforcement to meet the requirements of planning standards and achieve compliance with P2/6, NETS SQSS. Primarily this involves conducting load flow studies, short circuit studies, fault level analysis and dynamic studies. Exploring innovative transmission solutions like Dynamic rating and coordinated QB control have also been my primary focus. I have also conducted insulation coordination studies to identify the issues and suggest solution to mitigate the problem. Good communication and technical report writing skills are also my strengths.
