Introducing Aniket Pandey, a final-year law student at the Department of Law/Faculty of Law- University of Calcutta.
After his graduation in law, he would like to work as an independent practitioner in order to pursue his dream of handling a wide variety of cases and representing his client someday before a court.
At college, he has a CGPA score of 7.625 for the last eight semesters.
In the last five years of his law school, the task undertaken by Aniket during his internships tenure may be summarised as follows:
1. Co-authored well researched legal articles with a Supreme Court Advocate, ranging from traditional criminal law to Information technology and Intellectual Property Rights Laws;
2. Done court visits, observed bail matters, and prepared case synopsis under the tutelage of Senior Advocate Shri Milon Mukherjee ;
3. Conducted legal research in service matters at the office of the Advocate General of Jharkhand High Court;
4. Prepared newsletters containing summaries of various criminal law judgments of a few high courts, and co-authored a handbook on criminal appeal with a co-intern at Criminal Law Research and Review Blog;
5. Worked with SAMA wherein he guided a few clients from Maharastra via phone in matters pertaining to traffic challan and worked as a mediator in an online Lok-Adalat;
Apart from his internships, he has also done a certificate course with a grade: A+ in Criminal Litigation and Trial Advocacy where he garnered skills in drafting bail/anticipatory bail applications, protest petitions, applications pertaining to the famous Domestic Violence Act, legal notice, Quashing of FIR, Criminal Appeal Application and etc.
