•Data Center Management. •Operating Systems: Centos, Red Hat, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012. •Tools: Putty (SSH), RDP, Nagios (Monitoring Tool) . • Server Hardening as per client requirement. • LVM configuration and management in servers • File System Management- Managing partition, Making File System, Format the file system. • Creating LUNs and multipathing in Linux servers. • Backup & restoration using archiving tools (tar, dump/restore). • Basic knowledge of BASH scripting. • Linux Security Services: SSH (Secure Shell), IPTABLES (Accept, Reject and Drop different services like Ports, FTP, SSH). • Knowledge of installation and configuration server's –SAMBA, NFS, FTP, Mail, DNS. • Software Installation Methods: Yum (Client Side Configuration), RPM (Red Hat Package Manager). • Knowledge of set job using crontab on linux server. • Knowledge handling remote access tools (putty, RMM). • Familiarity with Data Center power, Firm upgradation, Cooling, Cabling, UPS systems, PDU units and CRAC units, as well as other infrastructure issues. • Skilled in installing cable, fiber, power and rack mounting equipment. • Perform installation and operations duties for Data Centre facilities, as required. • Prepared a list of all inventory required for the continuous functioning of the data center system. • Knowledge of handling windows servers (2003, 2008, 2012). • Knowledge of windows firewall (Allow/Deny ip for - FTP, MSSQL, MYSQL, RDP), Allow /Deny ports). • Knowledge of Windows IIS (Ftp/Website) account managing. • Manages Health and Performance of Windows & Linux Servers. • Monitors Bandwidth and Services of Servers using NAGIOS/MRTG tools • Configures Backup Scheduling and Restoration on Windows/Linux Server. • Provide 24/7 support to local as well as international customer by phone, ticketing and chat system (Kayako fusion, ITSME).
