I believe that my knowledge, skill, and ability meet those required of a system administrator responsible for enterprise systems with deeper capabilities in system monitoring, performance tuning, networking services authentication, systems deployment and storage policy management. My interests are mainly directed onto Red Hat products. I have set-up a few shell/mail/web/FTP/database/name servers, and monitoring services. I can do almost all Linux security related tasks, have a good experience of dedicated machine's administration, handle installation and maintenance of a number of solutions including hosting web servers, load balanced environments, media broadcasting, tunnelling software, office networking and proxy solutions. I can manage and troubleshoot a very large variety of software applications for example Apache and its replications in multiple roles, Cacti servers, Tomcat, Squid Servers, NFS, VPN server based software, Volume Manager and Virtual Box. I can also do scripting using bash shell. I've good knowledge in most flavours of U??x either Mac-OS X, Oracle on SPARC and Intel. I've good practice on different type of enterprise class server hardware including many Dell, HP and IBM servers with multiple hardware RAID Levels.. Following are responsibilities that I've undertaken since last 3 years: • Administering service migrations. Deploying High availability virtualized servers (Xen, VMware) and backups systems. • Managing control panel for services such as Apache, Tomcat, Mail Transfer Agents (postfix), FTP, SSH, firewalls, load balancers and VPN technologies. Installing commonly hosted end-user applications and other common software. Troubleshooting and diagnosing connectivity problems. • Scripting using bash • Monitoring security aspects using packet sniffing tools of common TCP/IP protocols. • Maintaining the posture of operational systems by applying an
