Shabu is a Senior Systems and Application Support Engineer (with Lead experience in several projects) supporting Mentis Systems’s Advanced Technical Services service line. He has several years of experience in Technical Support, UNIX Systems Administration, Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Application Support/Administration, Technical Support and Software Development (Automation/Tools/ShellScripting).

❖ Technical Product Support Engineering experience as well as Technical Account Manager with the Testrail Product at Idera Corp.

❖ Lead projects in an Ops/Apps Support capacity at AT&T & T-Mobile supporting mostly Java/JEE based applications such as TIBCO, Weblogic, Tomcat and the likes

❖ Large scale Enterprise Application Support, Engineering & Techncial Lead experience – 6 yrs at AT&T, 6 yrs at T-Mobile, 3 yrs at USWest/Qwest Communciations/Century Link and 1 year at ADP

❖ Several years of Systems & Application Support/Engineering/Administration experience in a *NIX environment  - Linux (all popular flavors – RHEL, Ubuntu, Oracle Unbreakable Linux, CentOS), HP-UX, Solaris, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, ATG Dynamo

❖ 24x7 Production Support on call experience for Systems and Applications

❖ Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Rackspace and Digital Ocean. Enterprise Monitoring Tools both commercial off the shelf (COTS) and OpenSource (IBM Tivoli, HPOV, Introscope, NAGIOS, cacti, Zabbix) & Enterprise Applications (TIBCO, Siebel, Weblogic, Tomcat, apache WS etc)

❖ Experience with CM and Asset Management Tools such as cfengine, OpsWare, chef, puppet

❖ Experience setting up and working with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana), SPLUNK, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes

❖ Experience with bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla, Jira and several ticketing systems such as Remedy, HelpSpot, Zendesk

❖ Heavy Shell scripting experience (Bash & Korn)
