In order to create a memorable logo for your project I begin with reading carefully your brief and immersing myself in the values of the brand. Once I have a firm grasp of the symbols that best represent your business i start sketching ideas on paper and will present the bust of them once I have edited them for screen display in black and white (a strong logo has to work in black and white in order to stand the test of time and be clear on every support imaginable, even fax) At this point I need your feedback to help me choose the best idea and review the details that might need to be changed. Once we agree on a final concept, I start the technical execution of the logo in Illustrator and in color. I use grids to harmonize proportions, margins and the type setting. I present the result at multiple scales and in black and white. A final round of revisions is needed in order to tailor the logo to your desired outcome. When the logo is complete I design the branding guidelines which will inform any future use of the logo with respect to sizes, supports, margins, background colors and images. I deliver an illustrator file with the logo as vectors (scalable to all sizes) as well as a pdf version complatible with other vector softwares, a jpeg high resolution and jpeg low resolution in RGB / 72 dpi for web and screen display, as well as a high resolution jpeg in CMYK / 300 dpi for print.
