I am all about opening up the communication and growing an audience on social media! I am a big fan of interacting with users on multiple platforms and being a human with a personality on a social media page. People like humans and want to interact and do business with a real person! I am a huge believer in the fact that social media (specifically Twitter and Instagram currently) Give us a pure platform to show our businesses off with planning and effort. Both of these products currently show us every single follower and competitor all over and allow us to interact and follow them. With an organized plan of attack, anyone can become better known with a steady plan of interaction, following and unfollowing, hashtags, likes and being communicative to people properly! Many business use social media without putting the proper work into it or expecting to pay the social media outlet for likes or buying a huge ad agency and expecting results. Here is why I suggest not doing these! Simply put, you want the social media platform to be an extension of you. Is a huge ad agency going to get to know you at all and actually learn the product? Probably not, generally they have dozens if not hundreds of clients and are trying to make quotas. When buying likes on Facebook or any platform, it is proven many times these bought likes are not sustainable and do not come back to you as business. If they did not have initial interest in your business, Facebook will actually drown out your message more when they are not viewing your posts and it makes the process more difficult unless you are constantly buying likes and hoping to hit it off with a few. I think you would be better off with a plan, sticking to it and communicating a message where people have an option of seeing this!
