I have been doing Malay-English Translation for two years. I take seriously every task assigned to me by my clients. My mission is to deliver a high-quality product in a short time. You can read all of my clients' feedback in my portfolio section. All of those clients are not from Guru. However, I intend to provide my skills and service to those who need them here.
My translation scope includes academic texts (journal articles, essays, thesis, reports, questionnaires, etc.) and non-academic texts (advertisements, social media captions, slogans or tagline). I usually will choose specific terms that are suitable for that particular field.
For Malay terms, I always refer to Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). Every Malay word registered is updated consistently and recognised in Malay literature and formal writing, either academic or not.
This is the standard period I took to complete the translation work:
Below 500 words: 1 hour - 4 hours
1000-3000 words: 5-7 hours
3500-5000 words: 7-10 hours
20,000 words: 1 - 2 weeks
