I've started to explore the Malware world, how to cleanup websites after malware and how to secure websites from January 12th, 2012 when one my customers was hacked and a person was uploading backdoor shell scripts that allowed him to be messing around with folders, files and to kept uploading all kind of malware. What I recall and I could confirm by searching again on my inbox, is that in between Jan 12th, 2012 and Jan 20th, 2012 I had very little sleep following all the things that the hacker did and closing vulnerabilities one by one. At that time there wasn't much known about how to fight back these kind of things, reputable hosting companies like Pair (where the client was hosted) didn't have a department for this and there was little information on the web about how to deal with this. It was a stressful moment, but an occasion to study and learn a lot of things about securing websites and those 7 or 8 nights of no sleep at all or very little sleep, were the key to a very strong background on security that I've started to accumulate from that experience. Many other events like that occurred with other customers, but this time I knew how to deal with it, how to look after vulnerabilities and solve them and how to efficiently clean up websites from malware. I would be glad to cleanup your malware infected websites and to also find the vulnerabilities that were exploited, as well as provide advice and a quote for closing them.
