I have 2.5 years of work experience in management consulting with firms like KPMG and GEP Worldwide. I worked with GEP as a Senior consultant from Nov 2015 to Jan 2017. In GEP, I have delivered strategic sourcing initiatives for MRO supplies for a US based TiO2 mining giant across Geographies like North America, Netherlands and South Africa. I have also worked on a Demand management opportunity assessment for consulting services for a US based pharma giant. Prior to that, I have worked as a consultant with KPMG India. At KPMG, I have worked on strategic sourcing initiative for IT services for a large telecom player in India. I have also worked on cost optimization initiative for IT services for a telecom player. Furthermore, I have been engaged on risk assessment initiative for retail loan products for a bank. Having worked as a consultant, I have developed strong skills at conducting primary and secondary research. I also have a good idea about using MS Office suite, etc. I also have hands on experience of creating proposals / sales pitches as a part of business development work. I have done MBA from Indian Institute of Management - Indore, which is among Top 10 Management Institutes in India based on the National Institutional Rankings 2016 by HRD ministry (Government of India). I have done my majors in Strategy and operations. I have studied subjects like Business Models, Competing Through Capabilities, Operations Strategy, Business Process Re-engineering, Theory of Constraints, Business Intelligence & Data Mining, Supply Chain Management, Advanced Market Research using SPSS. I have pre-MBA work experience of around 3 years with a Norwegian Engineering Procurement Construction Management firm called Aker Powergas Pvt Ltd. Based on my 5+ years of overall work experience, I have a good knowledge about the complete procurement cycle, supplier evaluation, competitor Benchmarking, stakeholder management, business communication, etc. My experience of working in different industries / with global clients also portrays my ability to adapt well to varied circumstances and flexibility to work under different conditions which is required from a consultant.
