I could do both translation and interpretation from Chinese to English and English to Chinese. Growing up with a multicultural background, I have the passion to work with people who need help with translation and interpretation. As an enthusiastic professional in translation and interpretation, I am confident I would finish tasks in excellent quality. I graduated from the University of Victoria with a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I believe that studying interpretation and translation is a life-long learning process, and I have already committed myself to keep learning whenever I am free. Therefore, I continued to studying translation and interpretation programs in both University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. I am fluent in Mandarin and English, and I have had plenty of experience as an interpreter and translator. I practiced medical translation and interpretation during my time working as a clinic assistant. Working at the clinics and different educational institutions has helped me to build strong communication and interpretation skills. Working with the media has developed my translation and writing skills. I am also open to feedback and pay attention to details. I am a reliable and responsible person, so I always finish tasks with good quality within the deadline. I am also strictly obeying the code of ethics as an interpreter and a translator.
