I am a private sector development professional with 6 years’ experience in implementing market system development interventions using making markets work for the poor (M4P) approach. I was part of the GEMS4 project as an Intervention Manager in the Lagos Nigeria office, where I was managing the Waste to Jobs Initiative, which created over 1000 green jobs with 11 months of implementation and developed 6 business models for adoption by waste recycling actors. My main tasks are leading a three-man team, by providing effective programme planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of progress and outputs against the project plan. Before becoming the Intervention Manager, I was instrumental to the design of an Agriculture Market Information System that will facilitate market price information and commodity trading technology for small holder farmers and traders. As a Business Development Coordinator; I worked together with both the private and public-sector players project partners to secure a four-digit short code for the Agric Helpline from Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC). I was part of a three-man team that conducted Report Assessment of Potential Displacement Effect on Basket Market by Introduction of Plastic Crates to the Tomato Supply Chain. I have also served as a Research Assistant, and worked with the Monitoring and Evaluation Team to develop Measurement Plans, Result Chains, Theory of Change. I facilitated data collection and analysis for project Annual Reviews. I have a superb research and analytic skills and possesses an excellent listening, writing and communication skills. I attended the Abia State Polytechnics in Aba and obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND statistics).
