Any decent-sized brokerage will provide their agents with boilerplate marketing templates, which is a nice perk--if you don't mind that your business looks just like all the other agents' out there. In my first year as agent, I closed 20 transactions. Considering that was in 2011, the worst year of the worst recession in generations and the average agent that year was closing just 6 transactions per year, you could say I had beginner's luck, but the truth of it was that I did what any agent, especially the newer agent without a book of business yet, needs to do. I set myself apart from every other agent out there, who uses the same-style branding and same-style head shots and same-style, blah, blah, blah. Since then, I decided to return to my roots in design to offer fellow agents the opportunity to have custom marketing materials created specifically for them. I look forward to helping any seasoned agent look as successful as they may be, by having their marketing reflect their success, their brand and good name they have worked so hard to earn. Just the same, I look forward to helping any newer agent by helping them develop a brand or simply make that brand stand out above all the other agents saturating the market and then design custom marketing materials that make them look as successful as they will become.
