I'm a consultant, researcher and writer with expertise in business plans, venture capital, competitive intelligence and wealth management. I have a Master's degree in management from MIT's Sloan School and have worked in communications for McKinsey & Co. and Merrill Lynch. I've written articles on investing published under my name in The New York Times, and ghost-written op-ed columns on management published in The Wall Street Journal. I have produced business plans, including financial projections, used by entrepreneurs to raise more than $70 million in venture capital. In addition to technology startups, my clients included a Japanese pharmaceutical research company, an owner of supermarkets in China and the consulting firm of In Search of Excellence author Tom Peters. I also helped Robert F. Kennedy Jr. write a book on how business interests influence environmental policies and regulation, and taught a “mini-MBA” program to new recruits of Mitsubishi Corp. in Tokyo.<
