I hold a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Psychology. During my time at university I received constantly high grades and received a Supreme Excellence award from the University of Victoria's School of Marketing. In my last year at university I had hands on experience working with a small New Zealand company that specialises in healthy food products, helping them by conducting market research and putting together a marketing plan to help them gain product awareness and grow in the future. When I graduated, I landed a Sales Account Manager position at a small and fast paced IT company specialising in Telephony services. As this was a small company as well as well as working independently to exceed sales targets for our corporate clients, I also worked closely alongside the marketing team and helped to implement marketing projects and conduct market research for the company and for my own clients. Furthermore I helped to prepare marketing reports for the sales director, as well helping to put together brochures and booklets for our clients. My role also involved customer acquisition, sales planning and reporting, preparing customer proposals and writing technical documentations.
