This story was told to me by a workmate, let's call him Sergei. So. Summer, village, time of day day. He sat at home alone and was bored. All my acquaintances have left, friends have also dumped somewhere, relatives have gone to the store. In search of an attempt to somehow entertain himself, the brain has already begun to smoke.
And now an old gas mask (elephant) falls into his eyes. Moreover, it should be noted that he also had a cat, which, due to the same problems as the owner (lack of entertainment), sat on a chest in front of the window and stared blankly at one point at the street without moving his eyes.
Further from his words: Well, it means that the head has finally stopped cooking, I decided to scare the cat. He put on a gas mask, carefully made his way to the exit, crawled almost like a bell-bottom to the window through which the cat was looking, and abruptly stood up. It turned out that we look into each other's eyes, and only thin window glass separates us.
The reaction of the cat was simply indescribable. He silently, widening his eyes, and sitting on the fifth point, began to push off with his front paws and slowly move away. When the chest under his fifth point ended, he also silently instantly went down. On the face of it, it was a lot of fun. But realizing that perhaps with my jokes I spoiled the cat's psyche a little, I decided to go and calm him down a bit.
But I could not even imagine how shocking it was for him. Entering the house, I looked around, but the cat was nowhere to be seen. Only one new detail completed the picture. There was a stain in the middle of the chest, and from it to the edge, then to the floor and crossing the entire kitchen in a straight line and up to the cabinet, a wet (and not only) strip stretched.
And the cat was sitting under the cabinet in the same position, with wide eyes. He crawled from the chest on his ass, not getting up, pushing only with his front paws.
Here is such a story. So, people, know that cats also have nerves of iron!
And the cat recovered in half an hour, and everything seemed to be as usual. Only now you can’t drag him to this ill-fated window even on a lasso!
