I am a Ivy League educated, international corporate lawyer with over a decade of experience in complex corporate transactions. I have had the unique experience of working on four continents, i.e., North America, Europe, Asia and now Africa. I began my legal career with the Wall Street law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where I spent nearly seven years between Cravath's New York and London offices. I have also worked for Herbert Smith in Hong Kong and most recently in South Africa for Bowman Gilfillan before deciding to start my own law practice in 2011. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate transactions, including leverage buyouts, private equity transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, securitizations, initial public offerings, secondary offerings, public and private bond offerings, private placements, joint ventures, setting-up ofshore companies. During my legal career, my clients have spanned the range from Fortune 100 corporations, major European corporations, bulge bracket investment banks, private equity and hedge funds, growing entrepreneurial companies and high net worth individuals. I have a BA with honors from Columbia University in New York City. I receivemy Juris Doctorate from New York University School Law, whereI was the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship. I am admitted to the Bar in the State of New York, and is a member of the New York Bar Association; the American Bar Association; the Asia-Pacific Bar Association; and the International Bar Association.
