I am a scientist and an educator with a PhD in mathematics. My training as a mathematician has instilled in me strong analytical and problem solving skills. My research involves using tools from geometry and analysis to answer questions in abstract algebra (finitely generated groups) and its applications. I have ten years experience tutoring and teaching courses at the high school and college levels. This includes conducting online courses as well as traditional classroom courses. Topics I have taught include calculus, trigonometry, linear algebra, and differential equations. I am looking to expand my skill set into areas of education beyond teaching (e.g. developing course material and software). I am open to any project that seems a good fit and can discuss work terms at that time.
