I come from a family of educators, so I know the importance of having personalized help with scholastic subjects. My father was a professor in microbiology, and my mother was a mathematics teacher at a community college. My mother was also one of the organizers of the college's tutoring lab where students could come and always find help in any subject. I would occasionally help out with tutoring mathematics when she had too many students in the lab and I loved it. I started tutoring there in 1996, and since then I have found many opportunities throughout college and after to connect with students and help them to achieve their goals.
