Hello. In this course you will learn basic algebra, probability and geometry. We start with algebra, advance to probability and finally end with geometry. This is some of the material that people need to learn for the IGCSE. Some of the things we learn in the first units of algebra is rational, irrational, whole, real and natural numbers, algebraic language, significant figures, periodic numbers, equations, inequations, powers, fraction sum, rest, multiplication and division, proportionality, Later, in the probability units, we will see random experiments, Lapace's rule, relative frequency, tree diagram, reasons and proportions, decimals and percentages, diagrams, and calculation of percentages. In geometry we will see Pythagorean theorem, pithagoric trios, types and differences between lines, constructions with rulers in paper, construction of triangles, angles, shapes, area and perimeter of a circle, transformations in a gridded paper, and 3D shapes.  Also we will see a bit of economic maths, as we learn about profit/loss reverse percentages, simple and compound interests, as well as upper and lower bounds. This will help in future assignments in life, as well as in work and in general lifestyles. All the material seeing this course is part of the Chilean National Curriculum and the IGCSE Curriculum.
