I am a versatile and driven mechanical engineering consultant with 5+ year’s previous shop floor experience in fabrication and manufacture. My interests with engineering began as a young boy growing up on the family farm; I loved to follow my father around as he fixed our aging machinery. I learnt to weld and maintain things myself at a young age and at 18 gained a job with the prestigious Rolls-Royce as a semi-skilled engineer. From there I had a number of years in manufacturing roles before deciding to further my career by studying a degree; I gained a first class with highest honours in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Derby. Since graduation I have worked as a consultant and been involved in a variety of interesting and exciting projects within the research & development (R&D) and manufacturing sectors.
