I have 25+ years experience as mechanical design engineer, starting as a draftsperson. With experience in many different industries, mainly in semiconductor and the horticultural fields, I've amassed more than 10,000 hours in both Solidworks and Pro-E. I am currently beginning my own venture to provide high quality designs and prototypes for people and businesses in need of manufacturable, cost-efficient, and creative designs. I want to build long term partnerships, so no job is insignificant or too small. I also have extensive experience in simulation modeling for FEA and I am versed in GD&T, design for manufacturing and assembly, and have worked with high power, high frequency, HID and LED lighting, and commercial horticulture products. I am also very experienced in technical product literature such as cutsheets, instructions, and test procedures. I have a lesser (but still complete) background in civil and architectural drafting, and am willing to help with that kind of work as well. I also own an in-house 3D printer, so if prototypes are needed, that service is available. I am currently working in Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD, and am also proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products.
