I am mechanical engineer by profession, and designer by choice. I am into product modeling, machine drafting and surface modeling( I don't use CATIA), apart from which, I have good understanding of Solidworks, I only work in Solidworks, it saves me time. Product modeling, meant on drafting and modeling products that are individual in scope, a unit. So, I'm creative, therefore, I can deliver creative results, like those of furniture, interiors,consumable and non-consumable products, where consumables meant design for toffees, candies, lolipops etc. I believe product modeling are more about aesthetics and ethics, and then of of course utility. These are embedded. Machine Drafting - Machines are not easy to model, because there are so many parts, and assemblies, and moreover, machine drafting can be done lest modeling is also possible. The machine design has many aspects, as a mechanical engineer, I know about these parameters, the zigs, fixure, shafts, gears, pulleys, blocks, sleeves, bearing, mountings, holes, springs, shells etc. into application of fluids - Liquids and Gas, and solids. Surface Modeling - I like surface modeling, its used to make surfaces, and sheet metal parts are also linked to it, because surface is sheet of molecules, or I say matter of certain density. Packaging can be done through surface modeling. Apart from specifics, I have knowledge of mold, forging, sheet metal, welding modules in Solidworks. And also, price of the work, or I say our monetary benefits would be such that more creative the work or more complex the work or addition of CAM then, price tends to be higher, else prices are low, it would depend upon what is needed, Simple Drafting or Modeling or Analysis or Simulation. Basic prices is 10$ per hour, and budget is infinite, to be precise it depends. So, It would be great to work together, its always a learning experience that precedes, but It is more about giving back to society what is taken.
