Mechanical Maintenance Engineer part of Norsk Hydro maintenance and Reliability Engineering Body. Experience in sizing pumping systems, lifting loads and mechanical equipment. Activites • Development and implementation of improvement projects and feasibility studies. • Failure investigation and root cause analysis. • Engineering projects and operational improvement. • Projects for lifting loads. • Preparation and budget control of materials and services in the maintenance area. • Development and updating of maintenance plans (preventive, predictive and inspection) for the plant's equipment (pumps, mills, conveyor belts, thickeners, tanks, etc.). • Preparation, monitoring and review of the list of spare parts with definition of minimum stock and criticality, including consumables, parts, assemblies and tools. • Elaboration of new operational procedures. • Preparation of descriptive memorials for contracting suppliers. • Support to maintenance technicians and supervisors in solving problems and developing new alternatives.
