I have designed and built everything from simple hand tools to aid in production to enormous shop equipment. I have experience designing plastic parts to be produced by both injection and rotational molding. I have experience working with and using all of the tools and parts that I've designed over the years. The plastic parts I have designed have been everything from simple things for rapid prototyping from Protolabs and Xometry all the way up to large production part runs in the several hundred thousands range. Be it a stand alone part or parts that are made for assembly, I can help bring your idea to life. I'm a mechanic, technician, and artisan besides being an engineer. I know what it means to actually build things, put them together, and maintain them, not just design them. I have a bachelor's degree in business management and 5 years of experience in aviation logistics with the Navy and Marine Corps to go along with my bachelor's in mechanical engineering and engineering experience. All of my elective courses were in aerospace engineering. I have experience in creating shop production drawings, so that your technicians or artisans can build the right parts the right way the first time. Working with a team to develop new products and designs is my favorite type of work. I also have a year of experience with designing for extreme weather conditions, I lived and worked in Fairbanks, Alaska and designed products that had to perform whether it was 100*F or -60*F.
