I have 30+ years of experience designing custom machinery and systems in a wide range of industries including; web-handling, converting, plastic film and sheet production, thermal processing, material handling, fabricating and much more. Much of my success I attribute to keeping an open mind and listening to owners, operators, engineers, and technicians while evaluating a problem and then selecting the most appropriate design approach given the specifics of that projects goals. While formally trained in structures, mechanics and dynamics I also have years of OJT, as well as continuing education, in controls operation, instrumentation, electric pneumatic and hydraulic power application, business management, marketing and team building. Any successful design requires recognizing requirements in these areas as well as solid mechanics.
