I have done preliminary design work on air vehicles ranging from trans-continental jets to surveillance UAV's. I have real world experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and an understanding of machining processes that dictate how a part is designed and modeled. I have designed and built a prototype VAWT (vertical axis wind turbine) that is self-starting and operates in low-wind conditions.
