I work independently transcribing audio files into a readable format on my MacBook Pro. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I have done every kind of medical report known to man. I started off working in a thriving internist's office as a medical secretary and was the chief transcriptionist. The rest of my MT experience was acquired from my years of working in the hospital setting as a medical transcriptionist. From there, I became an independent contractor. Although my experience is mostly medical, which includes working successfully from my home, I am not limited to the medical field. My education and abilities allow me to perform any number of general transcription-related tasks. My expertise is in my know-how and my ability to accept your organization's needs as my own. Of importance; I have a typing speed of 90 wpm, and as stated elsewhere I have worked on numerous types of software and word processing machines and I own my own pro headphones.
