Meghan King is opening up about her now-annulled marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens, which lasted just two months.

The 37-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star tied the knot with the 43-year-old Owens, an LA attorney who is the nephew of President Joe Biden, in October, but they split in December 2021.

King revealed on Caroline Stanbury's Divorced Not Dead podcast that she's glad the brief relationship is now behind her.

'I was very confused by the whole [relationship], but I'm just glad that it was short and sweet and it's done and it's annulled. The end. I put it behind me,' she said.

King had previously been married to former major league baseball player Jim Edmonds from 2014 to 2019 with the couple sharing three children.

She also admitted she, 'didn't ever want to get married again,' but she ultimately conceded because it was 'important' to him.'

'We rushed into it. Like I said earlier, I'm a lover and I want everybody to be happy. I learned some big lessons from that mistake. I'm sure he did as well,' King added.

Despite the brief marriage, King admitted she's still interested in dating, though she'll be much more careful.

'I have a whole lot of love to give, and these bad relationships that I've been in haven't knocked me down,' King revealed.

'And that's just who I am, I feel like I'm resilient. I want to give my whole heart, but I think I'm a little bit more guarded than I was in the past,' she added.

They first met on a dating app and texted for a day or two, but it wasn't long before he was on a plane to St. Louis.

'By the time that call ended, Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis that took off in about eight hours. Within a week, we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together. We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks,' she said in an interview with Brides magazine.

Just two months after tying the knot, King announced they were separating in a statement on Instagram.

'I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I'm shocked and saddened by the way things turned out,' she said.

She added in March on Jeff Lewis' SiriusXM radio show, 'He said all the right things and the families were a good fit and he seemed to grow up similarly to me. (It) was almost like an arranged marriage.'
