Seeking someone good at what they do, who is also a joy to work with? I'm it. :) New to GURU, but not at all new to the process of preparing writing pieces for publication. As a writer/ex-New York editor, I’ve worked with book/magazine/newspaper presses large and small including: Bantam, HarperCollins, Prentice Hall, Children’s Television Network, CBS Magazines, etc. along with established/emerging creative individuals worldwide. I also enjoy script writing/filmmaking/video editing adventures, and am familiar with screenplay format plus how the Los Angeles and New York media industries work...(even though I savor living in Hawaii now.) There's not much I like more than helping good work become structurally-sound and launched into the world. Prolifically published. Well-versed in assessing, developmentally editing, and crafting written projects from fiction to non-fiction, film scripts to children's books. Open to co-writing & ghostwriting. Happy to consult about the worlds of publishing and film at my hourly rate, or to embark up on larger writing/co-writing/ghostwriting/editing projects on a per-project fee basis. Particularly interested in autobiographical "life story" memoirs, intriguing (not excessively violent) film scripts, evolutionary fiction, fantasy/sci fi, love stories, spiritual/metaphysical &/or paranormal projects, and realistic, kid-savvy children's books. On my side: * I honor my word (have never missed a deadline yet, for example). If you like to have fun working with others in integrity too, we'll accomplish great things together. Looking forward to hearing from -- & collaborating with -- you!
