Our very first sector of services is MEP designing. I am a Director Technical in SRA International so have a term of MEP consultants, AutoCad designers and estimators under me. (1) BACKGROUND IN ELECTRICAL DESIGNING : Initially I designed many projects with my employer (WATTS ENGINEERING SERVICES) but later on i started my own setup with the name of SRA International and developed a team of professional Autocad designers, Engineers and Estimators. Overall until now, locally and on other freelancing websites, I have designed hundreds of projects falling in categories, Hospitals, Commercial and High Rise Buildings, Industries, Sports Facilities or Grounds, Sports Complexes, Residential or Mega Markets Under Ground as well Overhead Distribution. o Electrification (Illumination, small power, emergency power) o ELV Systems layout like Telephone, Computer Data, Public Address, and TV Systems & o Security system and preparation of networking layout of close circuit television system o H.V., M.V & L.V cables calculation as well as selection and preparation of cable installation layout o Load Calculations, Load Profile and Energy Analysis for designing transformer size stand by (Emergency) system (D.G set) & renewable energy resources like ON-GRID and OFF-GRID PV systems. o Design of Single line Diagrams /One Line Diagram & Flow Diagrams of distribution network o Lighting or illumination design as per standards using DIALUX or CALCULUX o Load Flow Analysis of Electrical Distribution System using ETAP or other associative software. o Sizing Of wiring or Power Cables and then preparation of Cable Schedules o Design and Plan of Substation indoor at commercial/Industrial buildings o Preparation of B.O.Q as well as engineering cost estimate of electrical works o Preparation of Tender Documents based on Technical Specs and detailed BOQ of construction Projects and to communicate with vendors. o Reviewing the Design work, shop drawings of switchgear etc. and inspection of panel manufacturing Apart from 'Electrical Designing' we furnish the clients with 'Plumbing' and 'Mechanical Designs' for their building as per international standards. We, as a crew, furnish the customers with complete MEP solutions or any other designing jobs.
