Mary Konwinski Mary Konwinski, a freelance writer and consultant, is president of MGK Writing Solutions. Her firm provides assistance with written communications, copy editing, and public relations. She recently retired from the Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) where she was Manager of Community Relations. An employee for 29 years, Mary oversaw all communications including BBD’s website and social media. She was the chief speech writer for the executive team and the board, and editor of BBD publications including its internal newsletter, Bloodline, and its external communication vehicle, LifeStream. She also was responsible for grant writing, direct mail and other fundraising efforts. Mary directed both BBD’s 50th Anniversary gala (2004) and its 60th Anniversary Celebration in 2014. Mary is a graduate of Ursuline Academy (DE) and Manhattanville College (NY). She is a past president of Newark Morning Rotary Club and previously served on its Board.
