According to the news of the İHA, in the accident that occurred on the Black Sea Coastal Road at night, the car under the direction of national boxer Mehmet Aydemir hit the trailer of the parked truck from behind. The citizens in the surrounding area, who saw the car under the trailer, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. 

Health, police and fire crews were dispatched to the accident site. The driver Aydemir and his friend Yiğit Şahin, who were stuck in the car, were taken out of the vehicle by the firefighters. One of the injured, Yiğit Şahin, who was taken to the hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams, could not be saved despite all the intervention and died. Mehmet Aydemir's treatment at the hospital continues.
