I've hired Mark (Cryons Graphics) three or four times now, which should tell you something. Most recently, I needed a logo done, and I needed it as quickly as possible.
It's such a hassle to go through the process of posting a job, then weeding through the portfolios, wondering which "guru" will perform and which won't, etc... then working with Guru.com's clunky hiring and payment process, which can be confusing and exasperating. So I was very glad that this time I already had a guru ready and waiting. It was awesome. I just rehired Cryons to do the logo... soooo easy... and they shot back a bunch of samples the next day. Fast-forward to three days after I hired them, and I have finished logo files sitting on my hard drive.
They did another logo for me last year, and they also did some animation. Everything was top-notch. I can definitively say that if you want solid, creative and professional graphic design these folks should be at the top of your list.
