2. DEBIT/Credit applications on hand-held EFT/POS devices, for ISO's connecting to different switches. Major hosts include DataWest, CGI, Global. The Electronic Financial Transaction (EFT) devices have a 16x4 character matrix display, an inbuilt modem, card swipe, smart card interface, printer & keypad. It supports hardware encryption of card data and pin. (C)
3. Loyalty applications (CREDITZ and GiveX). GiveX cards were Magnetic Stripe with relevant information in Track2. CREDITZ uses Smart Cards to store loyalty points and can be accumulated/redeemed offline. The CREDITZ application runs as a value added service to the debit/credit applications, and after the End of Day Debit/Credit transaction, the CREDITZ points are uploaded to the CREDITZ Central Server.
