Inspirational stories will never stop influencing people and showing them that being perseverant is always going to get you where you dream. And as 95% of the people who almost get there give up in the last minute, I am really interested in writing these stories in a way that people won't only read them, be impressed and then never actually put into action what they learned. I want to find that tone that is going to make people wish starting to work for their dream immediately after the story ends. Who inspires me? Ruben Gonzalez aka "the luge man", born in Argentina. Started a whole new sport "the luge" at the age of 21, became Olympian at 25. Incredible story about the desire and persuasion that brought him 4 medals in the Olympiad. His book "The courage to succeed" is definitely my favorite one. It keeps my dream alive thinking of everything he has done in order to accomplish a goal that everybody denied at the beginning. I am 19 years old, you would say I don't have enough experience, but I came to California last year when I was 18 years old, on my own. I played tennis in community college for one year and at the end of the season I've been seeded number 2 in the state and first in NorthCal. Now I got an almost full ride to Adelphi University in NY, where I am heading in 2 weeks and where I am ready to fight for my dream. I really believe that whatever you are putting passion and perseverance into it's going to be payed off with even better results than you imagine. But people never want get out of their comfort zone. They are happy with little and that's why one day, I am really willing to become a person that is able to inspire the people around, and show them that life is worth more than a beautiful car and a big house on the beach.
