FOCUS: THE SEEMINGLY FOOLISHNESS OF GOD Can God be foolish? Or can God be out of His sense? These questions may look sarcastic and you may wonder that how can a man ask that kind of a question? As you have positively answered that question that God cannot be foolish, which is absolutely true. God is not a fool neither will he ever be one, but He can be considered to be so many times today by people including the so called believers. Man in his psychology and analysis has always consider God and His ways to be foolish and ineffective because many times God’s way look so simple for the mind of a man to grasp contrary to his own sophisticated methodologies. Romans 11:33-34 “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding! For who hath known the mind of the lord? Or who hath been His counselor?” Many, especially believers have missed their miracles and God’s intervention because they considered God’s way to be too simple to be effective. So they hold on to their own ways of doing things which will never bring result. Any man who will follow and walk with God must be considered to be a fool and a fanatic by the world system. That means that you must be foolish enough to drop your own invented ways and cling on to God’s way in order to successfully follow Him. You may not be audacious enough to tell God that He is foolish, but whenever you hold on to your own way brushing God aside, you’re simply considering God to be a fool. That’s He isn’t wise enough to guide you. Everybody has his own way, but they that will walk with God must be malleable enough to submit their own way and will and follow God’s way. As believers, we are not permitted to invent the way we want to walk with God. But we must submit to the dictate of the Father spelt out in the word of God. Whenever you come face to face with God’s will you must be ready to submit to God and say “Who am I to guide myself, Father, let thy will be done.” That’s the life and the evidence of a true Christian.
