I am currently employed in a company which provide eLearning materials for several clients in the US, Canada, etc. My responsibilities, as technical lead, are to attend scoping/production meetings, review storyboards, provide work effort estimate, manage timelines, review resourcing schedule, forecast projects and assign developers. Aside from leading the team, I know how to create courses with the use of several tools like in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Studio, Captivate, Videoscribe and tools created by the company. Though most of my time are being taken by managing the team and communicating with onshore partners and clients, I make sure that I am always updated with the authoring tools. I don't stop learning when I have time because as a lead, my other responsibilities are (1) cope up with technology and (2) do some research in order to meet client expectations. I also provide training and create standards to simplify developer tasks.The standards I created like filenaming convention, file handling, internal review process, reporting and tracking have been implemented all through out our account. For 1 year and 4months of servicing our account, I was able to earn onshore partners and clients' trust and confidence. I was able to lead total of 5 developers, 2 onshore (US) and 3 offshore (Manila). With great partnership with clients, we have increased our projects which lead to additional 5 developers under my team on top of 5 current developers. I am also leading a virtual producer/coordinator which is new position we earned from that same client and will be utilizing Adobe Connect. We are also expecting, a project manager to be resourced in Manila who will also reports to me in May. Aside from these, we will also have LMS testers and AS3 developers and all positions will start by June. To summarize, we are winning positions from the account that I am servicing. With that being sad, my responsbilities as technical lead will be expanded to the following role
