I can create personalized maze puzzles that depict real people and places. I aim to create an enjoyable and interactive work which appeals to people of diverse backgrounds and ages.
These pieces straddle two-dimensional and three-dimensional space. The contours of each maze creates a three-dimensional scene, which can be appreciated on its own. However, the viewer is prompted to inhabit the surface, as the maze can only be navigated in two dimensions. The viewer must find their way from START to END, avoiding any traps along the way. Within each painting, the START and END are at a scale which can be seen from a distance, visible to passers-by.
Works can be oil, acrylic, or gouache - depending on your desired style and theme.
