My strength lies in my natural ability to draw accurately. I also transfer my skills to work in any medium, producing high class realism illustrations. I have a broad background in medical art, creating anatomically correct illustrations, helped by having access to the Royal College of Surgeons, and it was here that I was taught anatomy with cadavars. I am a registered illustration practitioner and a member of the medical artists association of Great Britain. As a freelance artist, I also complete work for exhibitions in natural history and scientific subjects. Through creating natural history illustrations, and with a keen eye for design, I am able to use these images in a number of ways, for example, for greetings cards, bespoke paintings and limited edition prints. I am passionate about all art, and therefore go about all tasks with enthusiasm and thorough enjoyment. Joanna was fabulous to work with. Very creative, organized, and attentive to our needs. She was realistic about time lines and schedules, and I don't think she ever missed a date she projected - except by my fault, when I piled more work on her than I had originally anticipated. Joanna took direction well about tackled whatever we requested for her for this project. She changed things I requested willingly and without complaint, working until she got whatever piece(s) she was doing for us exactly how we wanted. I will be publishing Joanna's work in a major book soon, and will be pleased to do so. She's simply great! I would (and will) hire her again for any illustration and/or graphics project she tells me she can do!
