LoTek Systems was a Godsend. We work in health education and the totality of our site needs to be encrypted in SSL because of the fact that we deal with student’s personal information (name, address, age range, etc). Our initial SSl configuration was totally off base. While the regular pages of our site was encrypted, special ports such as 8080 and 80 were not. We had no idea why the ports could not encrypt our Java application. What Ian initially estimated to be a 1 hour job quickly turned into a 24 hour project. The people and companies that we consulted with changed throughout the day (from our dedicated web host to our SSL provider to customer service at Parallels Plesk themselves). However, one thing that did not change was Mr. Ian’s dedication to completing the project. Not only did he edit the configurations for our server with a custom code, but he also resolved additional conflicting issues that were present with our SSL and Java/Tomcat configuration that we did not even know existed. Had Ian not fixed the SSL configuration issue, we would have had to delay the prototype launching of our site’s services for an additional week. We are grateful for his help and look forward to working with him again in the future
